Purple, Green and Yellow Seaweed from Semporna, Sabah

Good news for all of the ladies out there! This is a new secret for being beauty and it's less expensive compare to bird nest and other beauty supplements in the market. I heard about this seaweed from one of my Malay's friend. She bought the purple seaweed for her mum to try due to there was a lot of good comments about it. There are different color and different grades of seaweeds in the market. Purple are grade AAA, yellow is grade A These seaweeds are origins from the sea of Semporna, Sabah.

What's on your office's desk? (^ ^)

Stuff on my office's desk

What will you keep on your office's desk? Junk food? Makeup tools? Papers? Magazines?

Most of the things on my desk are skin care products (face and body). Due to the air-condition in the office, therefore I use lot of moisturizing products to moisturize my face and body. I do not have tons of makeup tools but I have tons of skin care! Especially for my dry skin!

Here we go....

For face, LANEIGE water bank essence / AVENE soothing hydrating serum and MY BEAUTY DIARY aloe vera watery jelly mist.

For body, hand cream ( Kored brand) / CRABTREE & EVELYN ultra-moisturising hand therapy / SIGNATURE COLLECTION moonlight oath body lotion. Sometimes I will apply some PALMER'S cocoa butter formula vitamin E scar serum for pigmentation or scar on my face or body. Last but not least, LANEIGE sunblock SPF 35, this is very important and usually will apply before out from my house. The texture is very smooth and just comfortable for my skin.

For sure, after shower, I will definitely apply skin refiner, balancing lotion, moisturizer and essence before sunblock. I don't use foundation nor BB cream because I will think that will block my pores and condemn my skin. MOISTURE MOISTURE MOISTURE! My skin need hydrating and moisturizing. Both of these playing an important role in my skin care routine.

Gals, moisture and pampered your skin before it's too late!

My Tools for Water Color Painting

I started to owned myself a complete set of water color tools by the age of 10. My mum sent me to the neighborhood's art center to draw for fun. I was 10 therefore I started by learning some of the basic skill of water color. Fortunately, after the first few months of learning I won my first drawing competition in primary school (drawing competition which held every year). I was so happy and this was the first competition that I have won. (too bad, I'm not talented and lazy to participate in any of the competition..hahaha...) Ever since then, I love to draw and I enjoy drawing. :)

Let me show you what usually included in my water color tools.

This is my favorite water color, it is quite costly. You can actually easily get it from the art store.
This is my color template...I love it to be messy and full of color, I wont wash it after I used. Just do it my way. :p

My classic watercolor palette and brushes.

Usually I paint using Chinese painting brush. Weird? That's my favorite brush of all. Most of them thought only (水墨画) Chinese brush drawing / ink and wash painting have to use Chinese brush, but I use to paint my watercolor drawing by using Chinese brush. It's smooth and easy to paint, but some of the elements or detail artwork will still need to use watercolor painting brush. Let's give it a try today! Chinese Painting brush to produce a watercolor drawing. :)  Have fun!

Last but not least, I will need a cloth and a cup to make my watercolor tools complete. You will just need to cut off some of your UN-use t-shirt and mineral water bottle. Cloth is to dry off my water color brush when needed during drawing session while used mineral water bottle cut into half is to fill in water, I think you know why water is needed in watercolor painting right? hahahaha....

The Starry Night - by Vincent van Gogh 1889

The Starry Night is a painting by the Dutch post impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh. The painting depicts the view outside his sanitarium room window at Saint Remy de Provence (located in southern France) at night, although it was painted from memory during the day. The painting is one of Van Gogh's most well know painting.

"... it does me good to do what’s difficult. That doesn’t stop me having a tremendous need for, shall I say the word – for religion – so I go outside at night to paint the stars.....'"

This is what Van Gogh wrote about this painting. It portrait loneliness in one of the cold , windy and silent night - this is what i felt for this painting. A great masterpiece by Van Gogh actually. It is now kept in the Museum of Modern Art, New York.If I get the chance to drop by NY again, I will definitely get my ass to that museum. hahahaha....

A Wind-Beaten Tree - by Vincent van Gogh 1883

This is also one of my favorite oil painting by Van Gogh. Don't ask me why it is one of my favorite oil painting among his 2100 art works and 860 oil paintings, it captured my attention and well, I think is because of the excellent blend of yellow, brown and black, another great artwork! :)  This is one of the painting which stolen from his private collection, that is why location unknown.
